Atlantis Casino Resort Spa:
Located at 3800 Virginia Street in Reno, Nevada, the Atlantis has grown and expanded over the years. In 1972, the property opened as a 142 room motel called the Golden Road Motor Inn. From 1979-1986 it was known at the Travelodge. From 1991-1996, the property was rebranded as the Clarion and a new 12 story tower was constructed. In 1996, as a publicly traded company under Monarch Casino & Resort, the property was renamed, expanded and added another tower. Today, the property is called the Atlantis and has over 800 hotel rooms, many restaurants and over 64,000 q. ft. of gaming space. They added the Sky Terrace in 1999 over Virginia Street. The overall theme is tropical.
