Please look closely at the photos as they are part of the description.  The photos were taken with the case off and with the case on to show the true beauty, detail and condition of the tokens.  The last two photos have the case on. The cases will have some scratches typical to circulating through a silver strike machine, storage and handling.  The token shows some signs of
toning due to age.

Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.  It straddles the state line between California and Nevada.  The drive is about 30-45 minutes from Reno.  It is a major tourist attraction and home to winter sports, summer activities and the scenery can be enjoyed throughout the year.  If you have ever been to Lake Tahoe, you will know when you are in Nevada - the appearance of Casinos will tell you when you have arrived. About Bill's Casino:
Bill's Casino was owned and operated by Harrah's Lake Tahoe and was open from 1987 - 2010.  The property was named in honor of William F. Harrah and located right next door to Harrah's.
About William Harrah:
William F. Harrah (1911-1978) was a businessman and founder of Harrah's Hotel and Casinos. He worked at various family businesses in Southern California. One of the businesses included gambling called the Reno Game. In 1937, Harrah opened Harrah's Club Bingo in Reno, Nevada.  It closed within a month.  He later opened another business in the downtown area, with the help of some influential friends, which was more successful.  In the 1950's, he expanded to the Lake Tahoe Area.  In 1973, he purchased the Holiday Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.  He died in 1978 at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota at the age of 66 during a cardiac surgery operation to repair an aortic aneurysm.  He was known for his influence to create the Nevada Gaming Control Board along with the Gaming Commission.  He was also praised for his positive relations with both his customers and employees.

A Silver Strike, is a Limited Edition Gaming Token which is won from a special slot machine and is in a protective plastic holder.  People from all over the world collect, buy, sell and trade these unique gaming tokens.  The first Silver Strikes were won from special slot machines in the Reno/Tahoe area of Nevada in 1992. The tokens have been issued with redeemable values of , , , , , , , 0 and 0. The most common denomination is . Did you know that the older silver strikes have a higher silver content?  As the price of silver increased, the silver content decreased.  Today, many silver strikes are Clad - brass with heavy silver plating.
