Have you ever driven from California to Las Vegas? Or from Las Vegas to California? About 40 west of Las Vegas, on Interstate 15, at the border of Nevada and California is a little pit stop called Primm, Nevada. There are three casinos: Whiskey Pete's, Buffalo Bill's and Primm Valley Resort. Buffalo Bill's opened on May 14, 1994. It is home to the Desperado rollercoaster - a
hyper coaster
with a 225 foot drop and top speeds of 80 miles per hour. When the coaster first premiered, the lines to ride were 60 minutes or more. The property also features a pool in the shape of a buffalo, an arcade, movie theater and the Star of the Desert Arena, a 6500 seat arena designed for concerts.
