Most silver strikes that were released in 1992-1993 did not come in a protective plastic capsule.  You may find scratches on the token typical of circulating through a silver strike machine on the token itself.

Flamingo Laughlin:
Laughlin, Nevada is located about 90 miles south of Las
Vegas along the Colorado River across from Bullhead City, Arizona.  The resort opened on August 1, 1990 as the Flamingo Hilton Laughlin. In 2000, the name was changed to Flamingo Laughlin.  In 2005/2006, the property was sold and rebranded as the Aquarius Casino Resort.  The hotel has 18 floors with 1900 rooms and suites that overlook the Colorado River.
What is a Silver Strike?
A Silver Strike is a Limited Edition Gaming Token which is won from a special slot machine in a protective plastic holder.  People from all over the world collect, buy, sell and trade these unique gaming tokens. The first Silver Strikes were won from special slot machines in the Reno/Tahoe area of Nevada in 1992.  The tokens have been issued with redeemable values of , , , , , , , 0 and 0.  The most common denomination is .  Did you know that the older silver strikes have a higher silver content?  As the price of silver increased, the silver content decreased in the silver strikes.  Most strikes produced today are CLAD, brass with heavy silver plating.
