    The Four Queens Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada has been an integral part of the Silver Strike hobby.  They currently have Silver Strike machines in play at the casino and have had them since 1996.  The Four Queens has hosted several Silver Strike Tournaments over the past 10 years.  The tournaments are usually twice a year - January and June.
    This strike was released for the January 2020 silver strike tournament.
    Please look closely at the photos, as they are part of the description.  There are photos with the case on and with the case off to show the true beauty of the token.
    The case may have some scratches typical of running through a silver strike machine, storage and handling. Due to age, there may be some toning.
    "Yellow Caps", "Red Caps", "Blue Caps" are considered "chaser strikes" and often times a limited edition.  The casino would put only a few of these colored capsuled Silver Strikes in the machine at one time and a person would have to play and play it until this limited edition "Colored Cap" token could be won.  The forty dollar strike machine is a newer style and specifically programed/designed to dispense a token with the right reel combination.
    What is a Silver Strike?
    A Silver Strike, is a Limited Edition Gaming Token which is won from a special slot machine and is in a protective plastic holder.  People from all over the world collect these unique gaming tokens.  There is also an official club where people buy, sell and trade Silver Strikes.  The first Silver Strikes where won from special slot machines in the Reno/Tahoe area of Nevada in 1992.  The tokens have been issued with redeemable values of , , , , , , , 0 and 0.  The most common denomination is .
    About the Four Queens:
    Located at 202 East Fremont Street, the Four Queens opened on June 2, 1964.  The casino is named after the builder and majority owner Ben Goffstein's four daughters: Faith, Hope, Benita, and Michele.  The Four Queens was a key partner in renovating the downtown area and creating the Fremont Street Experience. The property is currently owned by TLC Enterprises which also owns Binion's Gambling Hall.
