Once a very popular place to gamble downtown, it was very odd that the
Lady Luck Casino never put in any silver strike machines, leaving them
one of the very few in the state of Nevada not to have Silver Strike slot
machines
The once popular downtown Hotel and Casino opened it's doors in 1964
and closed them for good in 2006
The Lady Luck was a staple of downtown Las Vegas for over 40 years.
But the economic downturn that hit many gaming establishments finally
forced it to close its doors in 2006. Several investors tried to remodel and
reopen the iconic facility but it sat vacant - Now the Downtown Grand ....
