What is a Silver Strike?
A Silver Strike is a Limited Edition Gaming Token which is won from a special slot machine and is in a protective plastic holder. The first Silver Strikes were won from special slot machines in the Reno/Tahoe area of Nevada in 1992. These special tokens are bought, sold and traded all over the world. Many people belong to a Silver Strikers Club. The tokens have been issued with redeemable values of , , , , , , , 0 and 0. The most common denomination is . The older silver strikes have a higher silver content. As the price of silver increased, the amount of silver decreased. Today, most silver strikes are Clad - brass with heavy silver plating.
Palms Casino History:
The Palms Casino Resort is located at 4321 Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, Nevada which is near the famous Las Vegas Strip. The Palms project was first developed by the Maloof family. (Owners of the Sacramento Kings, NBA - from 1998 to 2013, Houston Rockets, NBA from 1979-1982, and currently a minority owner in the Vegas Golden Knights, NHL.) The Palms opened on November 15, 2001. It was the on site location for MTV's "The Real World: Las Vegas" in 2002 and is always an ever popular location for celebrities to visit.
The world famous Playboy Club was in operation from October 2006 to June 2012 on the 52nd floor of the Fantasy Tower. It was the first official Playboy Club in the United States since 1988. In
May 2016, Station Casinos purchased the Palms and began a 0 million renovation. The Palms Casino Resort is the location of a variety of restaurants, nightclubs, lounges and the Pearl Concert Theater.

The Maloof Family started their gaming
entrepreneurship by opening a local hotel/casino called the Fiesta in North Las Vegas, NV.

When the Fantasy Tower was built, it included a 10,000 sq. ft., 2 story suite with a basketball court, locker room scoreboard and multi-screen entertainment system.
