This do-it-yourself trio of whirligigs includes a fisherman, cowboy and pilot. As the wind turns the blades, the fisherman reels in a catch, the cowboy ropes a calf and the pilot gets a bumpy ride in his bi-plane. Each one requires just scrap quantities of 1/2 and 1/4 plywood and 1x4s. All are traced from full-size patterns and use the same simple mechanism to animate the figures. Each measures about 27 in. long. About U-Bild plans: U-Bild plans are ideal for woodworkers and do-it-yourselfers of all skill levels.
